

Membership and Fees
We are currently open to new members for 2026
Membership of the MKMAA is open to any person of any age who has an interest in any aspect of radio controlled model aircraft.
Membership application forms are available at the bottom of this page (PDF link) or contact us for further information.
Please note that when you join the club as part of the club membership you will need to declare that you have read and agree to abide by the club rules documented in the MKMAA Handbook and Constitution Book.
You are also be required by law to have registered with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as a model aircraft ‘Drone’ operator and arrange your own individual third party liability insurance. Both of these requirements may be obtained through the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) or direct with the CAA and any other insurance companies available.

Please note:
All new members may be subject to an assessment of there flying capabilities
before they are allowed to fly unsupervised.
Flying instruction may be offered by some members if needed, please contact the club Secretary for further details
All members must have valid insurance and CAA registration inc. Drone operator ID before flying at the club field
Sorry No Commercial activities allowed as we are a club for hobbyists only
